Level 1

• Eliminate the values already present in the same Column or Row.

Level 2

• Eliminate the letters already matched to the number in a given square.
  • Eliminate the numbers already matched to the letter in a given square.
• Eliminate the letters already matched to all the possible numbers in a given square.
  • Eliminate the numbers already matched to all the possible letters in a given square.
• Look for numbers which have been matched to all the letters but one.
  • Look for letters which have been matched to all the numbers but one.
• Can a value be placed in only one square of a row or column ?

Level 3

• Look for squares which have exactly the same two candidate values in the same row or column.

Level 4

• Look for combinations number-letter that can happen only in one square.

Level 5

• Try and error.
